When Mark Ring established Comforting Mercies Ministries in 1992, his goal was to reach out to those who have experienced great trials or who simply needed encouragement. Through words and music, Comforting Mercies Ministries hopes to bring people who are struggling with difficult circumstances closer to the Lord so that they will be comforted.  For those who have never experienced a personal relationship with God, Mark desires that they read a special message.

Mark especially has a heart for those in full-time service for the Lord. One of the primary verses that guides this ministry is Genesis 5:29, which expresses the words of Lamech, Noah's father, at the time of his son's birth. The verse states "...the same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, ..." Although serving the Lord is often difficult and tiring, we pray that the resources made available through this  site will bring comfort to those who need it most.
